OUR SERVICES
INTENSIVE WORKSHOPS
The race and equity intensive will lay the foundation by providing best practices and theory aimed at shifting practice and outcomes. By building historical context and assuming a policy-first approach, these intensives work to catalyze the process of moving from theory to practice and execution. We work directly with our partner organizations to customize content and implementation.
Intensive workshops are offered as a sequence of 2-6 half-day (4 hour) or full-day (8 hour) engagements. Intensive workshops can be delivered virtually or in-person with a minimum initial engagement of 8 hours.
EQUITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT
Overcoming Racism’s equity needs assessment is comprised of three main components: survey, stakeholder interviews, and a data analysis of organization-wide trends. The goal is to create a program that is suited for the specific needs of the organization that is aligned to it’s existing policies and practices.
The equity needs assessment is specifically designed to serve larger organizations operating across different sites and may not be a good fit for smaller or single-site organizations.
EXECUTIVE COACHING
We work with organizations, executives to help guide both personal and professional growth surrounding DEI commitments. We understand that leaders need support in order to envision and actualize equity priorities. Our practices combine objective assessment with personal support to help our partners become more effective in their development as an anti-racist leader.
Executive coaching is offered for individuals and groups in 6-month and 12-month cycles.
CONSULTING SERVICES
Overcoming Racism offers a series of additional consulting support services aimed at supporting organizations with moving anti-racism theory to practice.
